 KRESS Fahrzeugbau GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of insulated bodies for commercial vehicles and trailers in Germany. Our company operates all over Germany as well as abroad.  To expand our market share in Germany we are looking for a 

Sales assistant (m/f/d) - internal sales team

You are friendly, work well in a team and enjoy advising customers on the phone or in person. For this demanding and varied job you are comfortable working with computers and you would describe yourself as an open-minded person who thinks along corporate lines. You will be supporting the external sales team organisation at our office. To this end you will be calculating quotes, making up price lists, and coordinating with sales, construction and manufacturing.  You will also organise sales meetings, trade fairs and so forth. 

Your strengths include technical support and active sales.  You are a contact person for technical questions and are sometimes present at trade fairs and exhibitions.  Your activities, supported by our professional team, serve to strengthen our corporate image.  You report directly either to the sales manager or to the managing director. 

 

Your Profile:

  • Commercial or technical training.

  • Faultless German language skills, both spoken and written. 

  • Definite interest in technical matters. 

  • Good computer skills. (Windows, MS Office, etc.)
  • Independent, structured work and a high level of personal initiative and organisational talent. 

  • Communication and team skills, resilience and an open attitude towards customers and colleagues.

 

Your Tasks:

  • Creating concepts, calculating prices and putting together quotes. 

  • Supporting sales management and external sales team on a daily basis. 

  • Customer support on the telephone.

  • Organising, carrying out and analyzing marketing events. 

  • Creating and maintaining sales documents. 

  • Trade fair preparations, organizing sales meetings.

  • Participating in trade fairs.

  • Particpating in the creation of new strategies and goals.
