By further developing the CoolerBox2.0 KRESS was able to present two innovations at this event of the BMWi on 9 May zwei Innovationen, which serve to increase the efficiency of all KRESS refrigerated truck bodies in terms of energy use and environmental impact. In cooperation with the Hochschule Mannheim and the Karlsruhe Institut für Technologie KRESS developed this prototype.
By means of an innovative wall construction we achieved up to 30 % greater insulation. With reduced wall reinforcement. Additional heat storage units served to maintain a constant temperature in the refrigerated vehicle without using any energy.
The prototype is still in trial and test phase, explained Prof. Dr. Rädle and Joachim Kress to the Bundestag representative of the electoral area Rhein-Neckar as well as AiF expert Clemens Schumacher.
Within the electoral area of the representative the innovative mid-sized company KRESS has its plant and offices in Meckesheim near Heidelberg.
Dr. Castellucci is also professor for sustainable management. For this reason it is only natural that he should be interested in the innovative i KRESS truck body concepts as well as refrigerated vehicle solutions which serve to make refrigerated transportation more economical as well as better for our environment. And of course for all types of motors.
Since Member of Bundestag Castelluci was so impressed by the innovative progress made by KRESS, he visited the KRESS plant in mid-July.
